Visa Application And Instructions

There are two ways of doing your visa for Vietnam.

1. Have your travel agent do it for at around $25.00 per person
2. Do it yourself by following the instructions below.

The following is the procedure to follow when obtaining a visa from the Vietnamese Embassy in Canberra or the consulate in Sydney.

1. Download one application per person from this site http://www.vietnamembassy.org.au/Forms/foreigner.pdf.
2. Complete application.
3. Attach a current passport photo.
4. Purchase 2 Express Post envelopes.
5. Fill out the first one with the Embassy or Consulate Address with your address on the back.
6. Fill out the second envelope with your address on the front and the Embassy address on the back, then place the second envelopeinside the first.
7. Add the application and your current passport.
8. Buy a money order for (currently) AU$75.00 per person and place in envelope and post in Express Post box.
9. It usually takes about 7 days for it to return.
