Itinerary

Day 1
1600 - 2200 Registration (receive Pack) and informal gathering with buffet meal and drinks at the Ky Hoa Hotel (formerly the Free World Building).

Day 2
0800 - 1600 Day-tour of Sai-Gon, including the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, former Canberra BEQ, sites of former US Embassy, Australian Embassy, Capitol Hotel etc.
1830 - 2359 for 1900 Corps Dinner. Location TBA

Day 3
0900 - 1600 Day trip to the Mekong with lunch at My Tho.
1800 - 2200 BBQ in Grounds of Ky Hoa Hotel followed by the Concert Party (temporary called ‘Concert for Loreto’, an Australian Charity in Sai-Gon).

Day 4
0900 - 1400 Visit to Cu Chi Tunnels
1900 - 2130 Dinner on floating restaurant on Saigon River

Day 5
1000 - 1130 Travel by hydrofoil to Vung Tau and transfer to hotels
1700 - 2100 Pick up and transfer to Back beach for Beach Party with BBQ

Day 6
‘Free’ day for everybody to do their own thing, such as touring and sight-seeing around Vung Tau, possibly up to VC Hill, or just lazing in the sun around the pool or on the beach etc.
Night available for Unit functions at various locations.

Day 7
0800 - 1600 Tour Nui Dat and look over old locations; move to Long Tan Cross for Corps Service; travel to the Long Hai for lunch via ‘The Horseshoe’ and Dat Do. Return to Vung Tau.
1900 - 2300 Farewell Dinner with special guests.

Day 8
Free morning. In the afternoon return to Sai-Gon to catch planes home or continue on for an extended tour, stopping at the Museum at Bien Hoa to inspect the original Long Tan Cross.
